APR 4 1984 <br />BOOK 56 PAGE 6g '. <br />Chairman Scurlock requested authorization for <br />appropriate staff to research the County's rights under the <br />EPA. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, that the <br />Board authorize out -of -County travel by <br />appropriate staff to research the County's <br />rights under the EPA grant. <br />Commissioner Bird felt it should be emphasized that we <br />are pursuing this in an effort to clarify our position and <br />not as a threat. We are just trying to find out where we <br />stand. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />The Motion was voted on and carried <br />unanimously (4=0). <br />The Board agreed to request the temporary transfer of <br />up to 100,000 gallons from the hospital wastewater <br />allocation as the next step, with the transfer period not to <br />exceed five years. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wodtke, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Lyons, the Board <br />unanimously (4-0) authorized staff to request <br />from the City of Vero Beach the temporary <br />transfer of 100,000 gallons from the hospital <br />allocation for a period not to exceed five years. <br />N.N. <br />
