Keatin , P670P <br />Planning & Development Director <br />EXTENSION OF 1 YEAR -IME <br />LIMIT FOR CYRIL SCHO <br />HOUSE RELOCATION ?809. <br />130TH STREET ROSELAND, <br />FLORIDA <br />FROlV1et�v`' REFERENCES: Req/Samson <br />Code Enforcement Officer DIS:CDENF <br />--It is requested that the following information be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their <br />regular meeting on May 16, 1984. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />On January 14, 1983, the County Zoning.Department approved the <br />house relocation site plan and bond, submitted by Cyril Schock, <br />to relocate and bring into compliance with the Standard Build- <br />ing Code and all applicable zoning regulations a 1400 square <br />foot residential building at 5570 59th Terrace. AT that time, <br />the applicant tendered to Indian River County a cash bond of <br />$3,500. A one year time limit for completion of the project <br />was a condition of the approval, with forfeiture of the bond <br />possible if the project was not completed in the required time <br />frame. <br />Due to numerous financial and personal setbacks within the last <br />year, Mr. and Mrs. Schock were unable to complete the house <br />relocation prior to the expiration of the 1 year time limit, <br />and they are now requesting a 1 year extension to the required <br />1 year time limit as referenced in Section 25(n)(2) of the <br />County's Zoning Code, which reads as follows. <br />The purpose of the bond or other security is to guarantee <br />compliance in full within one year with the applicable <br />requirements of the Southern Standard Building Code and of <br />these Zoning Ordinances and to restore any public or <br />private property damaged while the building or structure <br />is being moved. Failure to fully comply within one year <br />as above stated, will result in forfeiture of the bond to <br />the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida. -- <br />ANALYSIS: <br />On April 4, 1984, the County Planning and Development Division <br />received a letter from Mr. Cyril Schock requesting a I- year <br />extension to the required 1 year time limit for completion of <br />the house relocation. Mr. Schock advised the staff that he had <br />intended to have the project completed by the required date. <br />However, due to personnel health and financial setbacks, the <br />project was delayed. <br />13 <br />BOOK .I FACE 13 <br />
