has done about as much as they can up to this point re the <br />costs of building and maintaining, etc. What they really <br />need is the revenue feasibility study to determine <br />accurately how much revenue we can reasonably expect to <br />generate. He noted that their self-imposed timetable calls <br />for being completed by the end of this year and having it <br />ready to come to the Commission for a decision by 1985. <br />Tentatively the National Golf Association is holding a slot <br />open to do a study for us in about September. Commissioner <br />Bird stated that when the committee has the funds in hand, <br />about July 1st, they will come back to the Commission and <br />ask permission to enter into an agreement with the National <br />Golf Foundation. <br />COUNTY FAIR CHARTER DIRECTORS <br />Commissioner Bird noted that the Fair Charter has been <br />brought to the point where the Commission needs to go ahead <br />and name the Charter members, and Attorney Brandenburg <br />explained that they are the subscribers to the Charter - <br />there are 26 of those individuals plus 5 Directors. Of the <br />Directors, there must be a president, vice president, <br />secretary and treasurer. The Firefighters get to pick the <br />president and the secretary treasurer, and the Commission <br />picks the vice president. The Firefighters have picked Bill <br />Tripp as President and Joe Earman as Secretary Treasurer. <br />Commissioner Bird has expressed his willingness to be <br />Vice President. That leaves open two Director positions - <br />one of which is to be picked mutually between the Fire- <br />fighters and the County, and the other one would be the <br />County's choice. <br />Commissioner Bird informed the Board that since <br />Attorney Brandenburg has worked on this and helped put it <br />all together, he suggested that Mr. Brandenburg serve as the <br />director mutually agreeable between the Firefighters and the <br />94 BOOK 57 PAGE 389 <br />� JUN 6194 J <br />
