JUN 131984 <br />awards are made. <br />BOOK 5 7 FAGF_ 415 <br />He explained that there is a time factor <br />involved which necessitates this procedure. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, that the <br />Board award the contract to Collee Mechanical, <br />Inc. for wastewater system improvements for <br />Treasure Coast and Ixora Utilities in the amount <br />of $349,598.50, contingent upon prior approval of <br />Farmers Home Administration; and authorized the <br />Chairman's signature. <br />Director Pinto noted that that Collee Mechanical has <br />good references and he found it an interesting company in <br />that they do only one job at a time. <br />Discussion followed re the nine bids received for the <br />wastewater system. The three low bids were $349,598.50 <br />$368,665 and $389,845 as shown on Pages 5a, 5b, and 5c in <br />Bid Tabulation. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />The Motion was voted on and carried <br />unanimously (4-0). <br />CONSULTANT'S REPORT AND BID TABULATION ARE ON FILE IN THE <br />OFFICE OF THE CLERK <br />SR -60 WATER LINE - AWARDING OF CONTRACTS <br />Director Pinto explained that the waterline bids are <br />broken down into three projects: the construction of a <br />750,000 gallon water storage tank on the corner of SR -60 and <br />58th Avenue; the construction of the waterline from Oslo and <br />20th Avenue to the intersection of SR -60 and 58th Avenue; <br />and extension of that waterline from 58th 8 Avenue out SR -60 <br />to approximately 94th Avenue. <br />23 <br />
