JUN 2 0 7984 BOOK 57 PAGE 471 <br />1 <br />Attorney Brandenburg explained that there is a <br />maintenance easement around the lake that has been left out <br />of the dedicatory language on the plat. With that <br />modification, the plat is in fine order and he recommended <br />approval. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Lyons, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board <br />unanimously (4-0) granted final plat approval <br />to Forest Lake Unit 2 Subdivision; with the <br />modification in the dedicatory language, as <br />stated by the County Attorney. <br />H. & I. Request for Final Payment and Change Order, <br />Tracking Station Park <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 6/18/84: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of DATE: June 18, 1984 FILE: <br />the Board of County Commissioners <br />THROUGH: Michael Wright, <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: V. -L. Griffith, Jr. <br />County Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Request for Final Payment and <br />Approval of Change Order No. 8102 - <br />VI -2 Tracking Station Park - <br />Third Dune Walkover - James P. War <br />Contractor <br />P.E. REFERENCES: <br />DESCRIPTION OF CONDITIONS <br />On May 16, 1984, the County entered into a contract with James <br />P. Warr for installation of the Third Walkover at the Tracking <br />Station Park in the amount of $17,000. The Notice -to -Proceed <br />was issued for work to begin on May 30, 1984 and be completed <br />in 30 days. <br />At this time, the work has not been completed but it is <br />estimated that it will be completed prior to June 26, 1984. <br />ANALYSIS AND ALTERNATIVES <br />The permit issued by the Department of Environmental Regulations <br />(D.E.R.) was modified by them to meet with their requirements. <br />-In the interest of meeting a June 30, 1984 grant deadline, we <br />had advertized for bids using our original plans. A Change Order <br />was prepared to increase the length of the walkover to comply <br />with DER requirements and is attached for approval. <br />10 <br />
