RECOMMENDATION FOR WATER MASTER PLAN _ <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 5/17/84: <br />TO: THE HONORABLE MEMBERS OF THE PATE: May 17, 1984 FILE: <br />BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONER <br />0 <br />THROUGH: Michael Wright <br />County Administrator SELECTION OF PROFESSIONAL <br />SUBJECT: ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR <br />EXPANDING & UPDATING OF <br />COUNTY WATER SYSTEM MASTER PLAN <br />FROM: Terrane. Pinto REFERENCES: <br />Utility Services Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />The Selection Committee was instructed to receive proposals, <br />carry out interviews and make a recommendation for the selection <br />of a consulting engineer to provide engineering services for <br />expanding and updating the master plan for water service within <br />the south County area, State Road 60 corridor, and the north County <br />area. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSES: <br />The Selection Committee comprised of: <br />Terrance Pinto <br />Jim Davis <br />Gary Brandenburg <br />Bob Keating <br />Mike Galanis <br />received nine proposals from consulting engineering firms and <br />requested interviews from five. Those five were: , <br />Boyle Engineering Dyer, Riddle, Mills & Precourt <br />James M. Montgomery Lloyd & Associates <br />Gee & Jenson <br />The Committee analyzed the qualifications, experience, and Iricing <br />methodology of the above firms. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />We recommend the Board authorize the Administrator and/or his <br />designee to negotiate the cost of the proposed project starting <br />with Boyle Engineering and if in fact a suitable fee cannot be <br />reached, be authorized to negotiate with Dyer, Riddle, Mills & <br />Precourt and proceed in same manner with James M.
