AUG 8 1984 Bou 57 F'GE 88 <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bird, <br />SECONDED by Commissioner Wodtke, the Board <br />unanimously granted an 18 -month extension of <br />plat approval for Wood Hollow Subdivision. <br />B. Approval of Final Assessment Roll, 10th Court from 2nd <br />St. to South Relief Canal, and 11th Court from 4th St. to <br />South Relief Canal <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 7/26/84: <br />TO: The Honorable Members of DATE: July 26, 1984 FILE: 8-8-84 <br />the Board of County Commissioners <br />THROUGH: Michael Wright, County Administrator <br />SUBJECT: Final Assessment Roll <br />10th Court - 2nd Street to South <br />Relief Canal <br />11th Court - 4th Street to South <br />Relief Canal <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P.E. REFERENCES: <br />Public Works Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITION <br />The paving of 10th Court and 11th Court is complete. The final <br />cost and preliminary estimate for the work was (NIC recording <br />fees) : <br />Final Cost/FF Prelim.Cost/FF Final Cost Prelim. Estimate <br />10th Court $3.8785 $7.46 $9,633.61 $18,888.00 <br />11th Court $6.2256 $7.09 $38,563.58 $44,276.00 <br />All construction costs are under the original estimates. The <br />Final Assessment Rolls have been prepared and are ready to be <br />delivered to the Clerk to the Board. Assessments are to be paid <br />within 90 days or in two equal installments, the first to be <br />made twelve months from the due date and the second to be made <br />twenty-four months from the due date at the rate of interest <br />established by the Board of County Commissioners. The due date <br />is 90.days after the final determination bf the special assessment. <br />The interest rate shall be 1% over the Prime Rate or 13%. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since.the final assessment to the benefited owners will be less <br />than computed on the preliminary assessment rolls, the only <br />alternative presented is to approve the final assessment rolls. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS AND FUNDING <br />It is recommended that the Final Assessment Rolls for the paving <br />of 10th Court and 11th Court be approved by the Board of County <br />Commissioners and that they be transmitted to the Office of the <br />Clerk to the Board for collection. <br />5 <br />
