Commissioner Lyons felt that the County Attorney is <br />working on an ordinance to give us a little better control <br />on things that limit visibility at intersections. He <br />further noted that there has been another accident at So. <br />Gifford Road (41st St. at 43rd Ave.) but the signal is in <br />the works and he believed the blinking lights are very <br />visible. He did feel there is a problem with an orange tree <br />on the corner that limits visibility, but we are trying to <br />do something about that. <br />✓APPOINTMENTS TO ALCOHOL, DRUG ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH <br />PLANNING COUNCIL <br />The Board reviewed memos from Commissioner Wodtke, as <br />follows: <br />TO: DATE: FILE: <br />Board of County Commissioners August 29, 1984 <br />SUBJECT: Appointments to the <br />Alcohol, Drug Abuse and <br />Mental Health Planning <br />Council <br />FROM: ' lliam C. Wodtke, Jr. REFERENCES: <br />There are five appointments to be made today by the Board to <br />this Council. Liz checked with Ken Bray's office (H.R.S.) <br />regarding the filing of financial disclosure forms, and was <br />informed that he had not received a definite answer from the <br />State Ethics Commission, but that everyone was 99% sure that <br />financial disclosures were not necessary.
