I have listed them in order of my <br />preference. <br />1. Suzanne E. Whiddon, ARNP <br />2. Warren Winchester <br />3. Edmund W. Cannon <br />4. William R. Quillen <br />My next four choices are as follows: <br />John Y. Ma, M.D. <br />Narda J. Riese, Ph.D <br />Grace Pennington Surber, Ph:D <br />Patricia W. Gibbons <br />The Chairman opened the floor to nominations, and <br />discussion ensued as to how each Commissioner would present <br />their preferences. Commissioner Bird stated that he hoped <br />we would be able to find a cross section of expertise. <br />The Chairman stated his only concern is that on boards <br />such as these where there is professional expertise, it <br />sometimes occurs that they get involved in the day to day <br />administration, which he does not feel is necessarily good. <br />94 <br />
