An additional cost is <br />incurred by posting a sign on the property. <br />Director Keating explained that their advertising costs <br />increased because previously they were not running a map in <br />the newspaper until County Attorney pointed out that it is <br />mandatory to do so. <br />Administrator Wright pointed out that we are grossly <br />under budgeted for that advertising. <br />Chairman Scurlock felt that a map showing proposed <br />zonings or land use designations is much more effective in <br />reaching the public than just a notice with the legal <br />description, and he thought the extra cost was worthwhile. <br />47 <br />
