ACCEPTANCE OF QUITCLAIM DEED FROM INDIAN RIVER SHORES FOR <br />�, <br />GIFFORD PARK PROPERTY <br />ThP Rnard reviewed the following memo dated 9/25/84: <br />TO:Don C. Bowman, Commissioner <br />SUBJECT: Two -Acre Parcel/ <br />Gifford Community <br />Center (Agenda 10/10) <br />FROM: <br />REFERENCES: <br />Please be advised that the Town of Indian River Shores has <br />executed the attached quitclaim deed, granting to Indian River <br />County a two -acre parcel of land located in Gifford Park for <br />the purpose of the construction of a Gifford Community Center. <br />Indian River Shores has been extremely cooperative in this <br />repsect at the urging and request of Commissioner Bird. The <br />deed provides that in the event the property is not used for a <br />community center within a three-year period or in the event <br />that the property thereafter ceases to be used as a community <br />center, then it automatically reverts to the Town of Indian <br />River Shores. <br />I would suggest that the County Commission formally thank the <br />Town Council of Indian River Shores for their cooperation in <br />this respect. <br />Sincerely, <br />Gary M.
