Required Finding by the Reviewing Body. <br />The County Attorney suggested the last sentence of the first <br />paragraph be changed to read: "The reviewing body shall also make <br />findings certifying that both the general and specific criteria <br />for the review of special exceptions have been satisfied and that <br />certain special conditions have been imposed to assure <br />compatibility with surrounding land uses, considering:....." <br />Page 64 - no changes. <br />Page 65 - It was noted that Section 15 will be amended to <br />reflect that conflicting ordinances will be repealed upon the <br />holding of the required public hearings, etc., as explained <br />earlier by Attorney Brandenburg. <br />Commissioner Scurlock noted that the only changes in the <br />Attachments were in Attachment #2, the summary table, and these <br />were reflected in the body of the ordinance. <br />The Chairman asked if anyone present wished to be heard. <br />Bill Priestly, owner of the Jungle Recreational Club, stated <br />that he had no problems with the proposed ordinance as discussed, <br />but simply wished to clarify whether the section on the existing <br />special expection use as originally proposed had been deleted so <br />that he now would be able to rebuild or expand the present Jungle <br />Club. <br />Director Keating confirmed that the draft section referred <br />to had been deleted and Mr. Priestly would be able to rebuild or <br />expand the Jungle Club. <br />Dick Baker of Fairlane Harbour and member of the Mobile Home <br />Advisory Board had a question of jurisdiction, which he was not <br />sure applied here today. He informed the Board that where he <br />lives in Fairlane Harbour, his mobile home is in the City, but <br />there is a County right-of-way immediately behind him and that <br />will comprise the extension of Indian River Boulevard.
