AUG 21. 1985 BOOK IcE 8.6 <br />the approved site plan, and that contractor has assured them that <br />he would have no problems completing those improvements within <br />the timeframe the developer has scheduled to open the center and <br />it would take him about 30 days to do that scope of work. <br />Commissioner Scurlock commented that there has been a Letter <br />of Credit problem in the past and it expires again September <br />11th; Mr. Spilotros advised that the new letter of credit already <br />has been ordered from Barnett Bank. <br />Commissioner Bird asked if the SR -60 improvements would be <br />completed and Director Davis stated that they would have to be <br />completed prior to any C.O.s being issued just to get traffic <br />eastbound into the site. He noted that first a permit must be <br />obtained from the DOT. <br />Mr. Spilotros confirmed that he understood that they could <br />not open prior to these improvements being completed. <br />Vice Chairman Scurlock suggested a Motion to authorize the <br />Chairman to sign an agreement to be prepared by the County <br />Attorney stipulating all the items we have discussed, and <br />Commissioner Bird believed that would be in addition to the <br />recommendations listed in Public Works Director Davis memo of <br />8/20/85. <br />Director Davis agreed those would be included and reported <br />that the developer has read those recommendations and agreed to <br />them; although he did express concern about being able to get the <br />DOT permits by October 15th. <br />Mr. Spilotros noted that obviously they can't move ahead <br />with a C.O. if they can't get that permit. He had no problem <br />with that, but was concerned about setting a finite date on it. <br />65 <br />
