Attorney Caldwell stated that he still would prefer to <br />withdraw their request for the rezoning. <br />Attorney Vitunac pointed out that the issue on the rezoning <br />is not properly before the Board because the Comprehensive Plan <br />amendment was denied. <br />Planning Director Keating commented that if the developer <br />goes through the D.R.I. process, conceivably they could bring it <br />back at any time, but he did feel the one year still would stand <br />in relation to the rezoning. He pointed out that a D.R.I. <br />involves a substantial length of time. <br />Discussion continued as to whether the rezoning request <br />should be withdrawn or whether action could be taken, and <br />Director Keating believed the Board could take action by denying <br />the request; they just couldn't take action to approve it. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bowman, the Board unanimously denied <br />the rezoning from A to RS -1, requested by Edgar <br />Schlitt, Trustee. <br />DISCUSSION ON NEW LEGISLATION - F.
