General Services Director Dean stated that they will take <br />the information received on the last study and update it on the <br />basis stated by Commissioner Bird. <br />Question arose as to what we paid for the last study, and it <br />was.reported that it was $4,500. <br />Board members continued to express concern about being sure <br />we have a reliable company and one that will take a real <br />objective look at salaries, etc. <br />Commissioner Lyons expressed his confidence in going with <br />the staff recommendation. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, to accept staff recommenda- <br />tion and authorize the low bidder, Matt Ellis and <br />Associates, to perform the work. <br />Commissioner Bird asked if we have any way to check on these <br />people, and Personnel Director Lois Hoder reported that she has <br />had contact with Matt Ellis. He is new to the area, but he has <br />been in personnel consultant work for the last fifteen years and <br />sets up programs throughout the state. Mrs. Hoder stated that <br />Mr. Ellis works with every aspect of human resources management, <br />and he is highly recommended. <br />Question arose about time frame, and Mrs. Hoder advised that <br />the study is to be completed within ninety days. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />DISCUSSION RE CONTRIBUTION TO NaCO <br />Administrator Wright reviewed the following memo, commenting <br />that NaCO seems to have a different idea as to how much Revenue <br />Sharing the county will get: <br />L <br />69 <br />BOOK 63 F!.;C 55S <br />
