If you wish to contribute to the National <br />Association of Counties lobbying efforts to recall <br />the General Revenue Sharing Program, they are <br />asking for the contribution of $360.00. <br />Please advise if you wish to contribute. <br />Commissioner Lyons believed we will have to fight for <br />everything we get and that we should contribute. <br />MOTION WAS MADE by Commissioner Lyons, SECONDED <br />by Commissioner Bird, to contribute $360.00 to <br />the National Assoc. of Counties for their lobbying <br />efforts to recall the General Revenue Sharing Program. <br />Commissioner Wodtke felt we do pay substantial dues to NaCO, <br />and wondered if this same request was made to the City of Vero <br />Beach. <br />Administrator Wright advised that request was made only to <br />counties. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried 4 to 1 with <br />Chairman Scurlock voting in opposition. <br />70 <br />
