2, costs incurred in connection with tests or inspections conducted pursuant to <br /> paragraph 13.04.6 shall be paid as provided in said paragraph 13.04.13; <br /> 3. tests otherwise specifically provided in the Contract Documents, <br /> 13.05 OWNER May Stop the Fork <br /> SC-13.05.A. Deletep aragraph GC-13,05.A in its entirety and insert the following paragraph in its <br /> place. <br /> A, If the work is defective, or CONTRACTOR fails to supply sufficient skilled <br /> workers or suitable materials or equipment, or fails to comply with permit <br /> requirements, or fails to comply with the technical specifications, or fails to <br /> perform the work in such a way that the completed Work will conform to the <br /> Contract Documents, OWNER may order CONTRACTOR to stop the Work, or any <br /> portion thereof, until the cause for such order has been eliminated; however, this <br /> right of OWNER to stop the Work shall not give rise to any duty on the part of <br /> OWNER to exercise this right for the benefit of CONTRACTOR, any <br /> Subcontractor, any Supplier, any other individual or entity, or any surety for, or <br /> employee or agent of any of them. <br /> 14.02 Progress Payments <br /> SC-14.02.B.5. Delete paragraph GC-1 4.o2.B.5.d in its entirety and insert the following paragraph <br /> in its place: <br /> d, ENGINEER has actual knowledge of the occurrence of any of the events <br /> enumerated in paragraph 15.02.A; or <br /> SC-14.02.B.5. Add the following sentences at the end of paragraph GC-14.02.B•5: <br /> e. OWNER has been required to pay ENGINEER additional compensation because <br /> of CONTRACTOR delays or rejection of defective work; or <br /> f. OWNER has been required to pay an independent testing laboratory for <br /> subsequent inspections, tests, or approvals taken after initial failing inspections, <br /> tests, or approvals. <br /> SC-14.02.0.1. Delete paragraph GC-14.02.C.1 in its entirety and insert the following <br /> paragraph in its place.- <br /> C. <br /> lace:C. Payment Becomes Due <br /> 1. Payment shall be made by OWNER to CONTRACTOR according to the Local <br /> Government Prompt Payment Act.
