DeBlois TM #86-319 <br />Staff Planner DIS:ROLAND <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at their <br />regular meeting of March 26, 1986. <br />DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION APPLICATION <br />NO. 31-117096-4 <br />APPLICANT: Figgie Properties, Inc. <br />1000 Virginia Center Parkway <br />Richmond, VA 23295 <br />WATERWAY & LOCATION: The project is located on the shoreline <br />fringe of the Indian River, adjacent to State Road AIA in <br />Section 16, Township 33 South, Range 40 East, Indian River <br />County, Florida. <br />The upland property associated with the project is Seagrove <br />West Subdivision, located on State Road AIA, Vero Beach, <br />Florida. <br />WORK & PURPOSE: The applicant proposes to alter approximately <br />50% of existing mangroves on the shoreline fringe of the <br />subject property for purposes of maintaining a river view for <br />Seagrove West Subdivision. The alteration is to consist of <br />trimming and hedging of approximately 500 mangroves. The <br />applicant proposes to conduct the trimming process in <br />accordance with the Indian River County Tree Protection <br />Ordinance mangrove alteration criteria. <br />14 <br />
