22. SPECIAL PROVISIONS <br />The Contractor shall comply with the following special provisions as part of the contract for the Old <br />Dixie Highway Sidewalk Project: <br />(1) (A) BASE BID - TIMEFRAME <br />The total time for the project construction will commence with a Written Notice to <br />Proceed from the County that is anticipated to be issued to the Contractor on <br />November 10, 2014 with the project being substantially completed by the Contractor <br />on the 60th day and totally 100% completed by the Contractor on the 75th day. <br />(B) CPM SCHEDULE AND NARRITIVE <br />The Contractor shall submit to the County as part of his bid submission, a detailed <br />construction schedule in CPM format outlining the proposed progress of the work to <br />be performed by the Contractor and his subcontractors for the BASE BID — <br />TIMEFRAME. <br />The Contractors CPM schedule for the BASE BID — TIMEFRAME shall include but <br />not be limited to the demolition phasing dates of the work, manufacturing dates of all <br />components, all phasing dates of the total work required for each component to be <br />manufactured and installed, the start and completion dates for each phase of the <br />individual components to be installed, street closure dates and durations including <br />the start and completion dates of each phase. <br />In addition to the CPM schedule for the BASE BID — TIMEFRAME, the Contractor <br />shall submit, in narrative format, a detailed description of the means and methods <br />for the Contractor's work including but not limited to the mobilization and <br />demobilization of all equipment and materials, the demolition sequencing of the <br />work, the individual phasing sequencing of each component manufacturing and <br />installation, the Contractor's proposed manpower and equipment allocations and <br />commitments for each phase of the work, the Contractor's proposed work hours for <br />each day to be worked, the phasing of road closures with their closure dates and <br />durations, work sequence and days of the week the Contractor and his <br />subcontractors will require from the County to complete the work within the time <br />frames of the BASE BID — TIMEFRAME. <br />The CPM schedules for the BASE BID — TIMEFRAME and narrative approach for <br />the project will be used by the County in determining the best value in awarding the <br />construction contract. <br />The contractor will not be allowed to change his submitted CPM schedule for the <br />BASE BID — TIMEFRAME prior to and or after the Award of Contract and the Notice <br />to Proceed is issued by the County without prior written approval of the County's <br />Project Manager <br />(2) The Contractor shall provide daily clean up of the project work area. Cleanup shall include <br />but not be limited to removal of trash, construction debris, excavated materials and materials <br />generated as a result of the demolition of the existing sidewalks, curbs and gutters, road way <br />components <br />54 <br />
