Project Description: <br />The deliverables listed below are to be completed and approved by the DEPARTMENT by the due date <br />listed. <br />3.0 Construction <br />Work performed and costs associated with the placement of fill material and/or the construction of erosion <br />control structures within the project area. Eligible costs may include mobilization, demobilization, <br />construction observation or inspection services, beach fill, tilling and scarp removal, erosion control <br />structures, dune stabilization measures and native beach -dune vegetation. Construction shall be conducted <br />in accordance with any and all permits issued by the Department. <br />Performance Standard: Work products (Deliverables) must meet acceptance standards of the engineer, <br />building code inspector, Joint Coastal Permit, or a combination of these, as required, to assure all project - <br />related construction is completed to desired specifications. <br />3.1 Restoration Construction <br />Restoration of approximately 6.1 miles of shoreline between DEP Monuments R20 - R51 (critically eroded <br />section) in Indian River County (Sector 3). Phase 1 construction was completed in 2010. Phase 2 construction <br />was initiated in 2011'and completed in 2012. (Note: The final construction cost was $10,142,056.22. The <br />state appropriation was insufficient to fully reimburse the local sponsor.) <br />Deliverable A: Final construction completion certification for the 2011-2012 Phase 2 Project. <br />Total Cost $9,939,838 (DEP cost $4,969,919). <br />Due Date: January 31, 2016. <br />4.0 Monitoring <br />A monitoring program conducted in accordance with the requirements specified in any and all permits issued <br />by the Department and the US Army Corps of Engineers. A monitoring plan must be submitted and approved <br />in writing by the Department prior to the initiation of monitoring activities. The plan shall be developed in a <br />manner that will coordinate the monitoring activities with the Department's Regional Coastal Monitoring <br />Program. <br />Performance standard: All deliverables, reports, and monitoring results will be circulated to the <br />Department for review and comment. When comments are received from the Department affirming that the <br />deliverable is acceptable, payment will be authorized. <br />4.1 2014 Post -Construction Physical Monitoring <br />Permit required physical monitoring was conducted in accordance with the terms and conditions of DEP <br />.permit number 0285993 -001 -JC. The post construction physical monitoring efforts included data acquisition <br />and quality control, survey data analysis and the preparation of a physical monitoring report. <br />(M&E WO1 & CB&1 WO5) <br />Deliverable A: 2014 Physical Monitoring Report (Phase 2 — Year 3; Phase 2B — Year 2; Dune Repair <br />Preconstruction). <br />Total Cost $66,125 (DEP cost $33,062.50). <br />Due Date: January 31, 2016. <br />DEP Agreement No. 151R1, Attachment A, Page 2 of 3 <br />
