Balczun, <br />County Administrator SUBJE�+ m <br />`PTofessional Engineering Services <br />Agreement - Vero Lake Estates <br />Subdivision Drainage Study - <br />Beindorf and Associates <br />FROM: Janes W. Davis, P.E., REFERENCES: <br />Public Wor Director <br />DESCRIPTION AMID CONDITIONS <br />As authorized by the Board in July, 1986, staff has prepared and negotiated <br />the attached Professional Engineering Services Agreement for the Vero Lake <br />Estates Subdivision Drainage Study. The Agreement provides for a detailed <br />drainage study of the Vero Lake Estates area. County Survey crews will <br />acquire ire basic inventory data of the existing drainage system. The Engineer <br />will initiate the work by preparing horizontal and vertical control for <br />Aerial Photogrammetry Service, and assist the County in selecting an Aerial <br />Photogrammetrist. A Preliminary phase is required, after which the <br />Consultant shall prepare a preliminary report and present a preliminary <br />Master Plan to the Vero Lakes Estates NLSTU Advisory Committee. Once the <br />Preliminary plan is adopted, the Final Master Plan drawings, report, cost <br />estimate, phasing plan, etc. will be performed. <br />The Public Works Director and Engineer gave a presentation to the VIE <br />Property Owners Assoc. on Sept. 9, 1986 to describe the project. :. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The cost of the work is as follows: <br />Engineering Services $ 76,625.00 <br />Photogrammetxy (Estimate) 26, 000.00 <br />Soil Investigation 5,000.00 <br />Total $107,625.00 <br />RECOVk=ATIONS AND FUNDING <br />Staff reeds that the Board authorize the Chairman to execute the <br />subject agreement. Funding to be from fund #185-214-541-033.13 Vero Lake <br />Estates MSTU. Approximately $60,000 currently exists in the fund and <br />another $60,000 is to be collected during FY86-87 from the $15.00 per <br />parcel -acre assessment. <br />10 <br />
