Davis, P.E. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />SUBJECT: Request for Waiver - <br />Floodplain Displacement <br />Requirement - Ordinance 82-28 <br />Shorelands West Subdivision <br />REFERENCES: <br />Letter from Dean F. <br />Assoc. to Jim Davis dated <br />Oct. 24, 1986 <br />W <br />Carter and Assoc., on behalf of the developer of Shoreland Subdivision (on <br />the West side of A -1 -A North of the Moorings) -is requesting a waiver of the <br />"cut and fill" balance requirement rement as contained in the Stonavater Manage- - <br />ment and Flood Protection Ordinance (82-28). The Engineer states that only <br />8,820 c.y. of material will be placed in t$e 10-year_Flood Plain. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the Indian River in this area is a estuarine environment, and the <br />project meets all other requirements of Ordinance 82-28, and will cause a <br />water level rise of .0018" in the river, staff has no objection. <br />440,6*41 <br />Staff recommends that a waiver to the flood plain displacement requirement <br />be granted to Shoreland Subdivision. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Lyons, the Board unanimously granted a <br />waiver to the floodplain displacement requirement <br />to Shoreland Subdivision. <br />I.R.BOULEVARD SOUTHERLY EXTENSION - CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 <br />The Board reviewed memo of Public Works Director Davis: <br />44 <br />
