RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING COURTHOUSE ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution 87-4 establishing the Courthouse Advisory <br />Committee. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87- 4 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY <br />COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, <br />FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING THE COURTHOUSE <br />ADVISORY COMMITTEE. <br />WHEREAS, it has become apparent that the existing <br />Indian River County Courthouse will not be sufficient to <br />meet the future needs of Indian River County; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has <br />determined that the establishment of a long-range planning <br />committee to study the need, location, and design of future <br />courthouse construction or expansion will provide a --Useful <br />service to the Board in its endeavor to resolve these <br />issues; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE I.T RESOLVED that the Board of <br />County Commissioners of Indian River County hereby <br />establishes the Courthouse Advisory Committee to study the <br />need, location and design for future courthouse construction <br />or expansion and any other matters pertaining thereto and as <br />provided herein. <br />The Committee chairman shall be a member of the <br />Board of County Commissioners selected by a majority vote of <br />the Board. The initial chairman of the committee shall be <br />Commissioner Gary C. Wheeler. The members of the committee <br />may include the following: <br />1. A representative of the Vero Beach City <br />Council, as nominated by that Board; <br />2. A member of the Sebastian City Council, as <br />nominated by that Board; <br />3. A judge presiding on the Circuit or County <br />bench in Indian River County; <br />51 <br />
