Please be advised that the County shall inspect the <br />work as required and that the contractor shall request all <br />inspections as noted on the permit. <br />Below are the Land Development Permit conditions for Grand <br />Harbor Phase II Earthwork: <br />1) Grand Harbor will provide notification to the Public Works <br />Division to facilitate scheduling the following inspections <br />of pesticide laden soils operations: <br />a) Construction of the separation basins <br />b) Pumping or trucking from the estuarine area to the <br />separation basins <br />c) Pumping from the separation basins to spreader trucks <br />d) Deposition of material on fairways <br />e) Backfilling to a minimum cover of one foot on fairways <br />2) The applicant shall notify the Public Works and Planning <br />Departments immediately upon completion of Phase II earth- <br />work, which includes excavation of lakes. Upon notice, said <br />departments may perform inspections. Within 30 days of such <br />inspections the lake littoral zones shall be established. <br />The applicant shall arrange for a County inspection of the <br />littoral zones no later than 25 days from the time of the <br />County inspection of the Phase II earthwork. <br />3) Silt screens, hay bales and grasing shall be required to <br />control erosion during and after construction. <br />If it is determined that erosion on the site is not being <br />maintained properly to prevent significant amounts of <br />sediment discharge into the Indian River, the County will <br />stop work on the project until it is reduced to an <br />acceptable level. During the course of constuction, Public <br />Works will periodically inspect by boat provided by the <br />developer the depth and turbidity of the Indian River at the <br />locatA:on of the temporary outfalls permitted earlier for <br />Phase IA and the River Club. <br />41 <br />MAY 2 6 1987 Bou 441 <br />
