Commissioner Eggert reported that there is going to be about <br />$82,000 in traffic impact fees up there. CONTRACT IS ON FILE IN <br />THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />South County Library Site <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 1/20188: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: <br />DATE: January 20, 1988 <br />RE: SOUTH COUNTY LIBRARY SITE - MOON PROPERTY <br />BOARD MEETING - JANUARY 26, 1988 <br />Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />Attached is a contract for purchase by the County from Nancy <br />Moon of her portion of the South County Libary site. The <br />purchase price would be $375,000 and would be contingent <br />upon the County obtaining site plan approval within one <br />year. <br />Mrs. Moon has changed the offer she -originally made to the <br />Board of County Commissioners. The two lessees on the <br />_property, i.e., the Laundromat and the supermarket, would <br />"become the problem of the County and not Mrs. Moon. Mrs. <br />Moon had originally offered to be responsible for all costs <br />of removing the tenants from the property including eminent <br />domain, if that became necessary. The attached contract <br />places that burden upon the County now. <br />As consideration for this change, by separate 'letter which <br />is also attached, Mrs. Moon has offered to dgnate.ti$50,000 <br />toward the library.
