2. an approved cost estimate of required improvements from the <br />project engineer; <br />3. a Letter of Credit for 115% of the cost of the remaining <br />required subdivision improvements; and <br />4. a contract committing them to completing the remaining <br />required improvements. <br />ANALYSIS: <br />The subject property is to be provided with water by Indian River <br />County and will utilize the existing Grove Isle wastewater treat- <br />ment plant for sewer service. A Land Development Permit has been <br />issued by the Public Works department. The County Attorney's <br />office has approved the contract subject to it being signed by the <br />Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners. The final plat is <br />also in conformance with the approved preliminary plat. Thus, all <br />County requirements concerning final plat approval have been <br />addressed. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners grant <br />final plat approval to Grove Isle Subdivision, authorize the <br />Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners to sign acontract <br />with the applicant committing the applicant to completing the <br />remaining required improvements, and accept the letter of credit <br />guaranteeing the contract. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bird, the Board unanimously granted Final <br />Plat Approval of Grove Isle Subdivision, authorized <br />the Chairman to sign a contract for the Construction <br />of Required Improvements, and accepted the letter of <br />credit guaranteeing the contract. <br />(Copy of Contract for Construction of Required Improve- <br />ments on file in Office of Clerk to Board.) <br />(14.)
