He explained that the <br />retention schedule is approved by the state, but then it is <br />necessary to go back to the Division of Archives each time you <br />actually want to destroy something and set out exactly what it is <br />you want to destroy. <br />Commissioner Bird did not feel the tapes take up very much <br />room and asked if we can retain them and approve everything else. <br />It was noted that the quality of the tapes deteriorates after <br />five years or so. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Bowman, the Board unanimously approved the <br />destruction of Board records as listed, including the <br />sound recordings of Official Board Meetings from Day 1 <br />to 12-31-85. <br />TEFRA RESOLUTION € NOTICE (FLA.
