It was voted on and <br />carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSMITTAL OF CLUP AMENDMENTS <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Bowman, the Board unanimously adopted Resolution <br />88-28 authorizing transmittal of those Comprehensive <br />Plan amendment applications approved today. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 88- 28 <br />A RESOLUTION OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING <br />THE TRANSMITTAL OF COMPREHENSIVE PLAN AMENDMENT <br />APPLICATIONS, STAFF RECOMMENDATIONS, AND THE RECOMMENDATIONS <br />OF THE LOCAL PLANNING AGENCY TO THE DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY <br />AFFAIRS OF THE STATE OF FLORIDA FOR A MANDATORY NINETY DAY <br />REVIEW PERIOD. <br />WHEREAS, Chapter 163 of the Florida Statutes, requires that <br />local governments prepare and adopt Comprehensive Plans, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has adopted a <br />Comprehensive Plan pursuant to Florida Statutes, and <br />WHEREAS, Florida Statutes provide for the amendment of <br />Comprehensive Plans twice per calandar year, and <br />WHEREAS, The Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the <br />local planning agency, has held public hearings and ,made <br />recommendations concerning these amendments, and <br />WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners has held a <br />preliminary public hearing concerning these amendments, and <br />APR 26 1988 <br />58 <br />Hale 72 F'' E Z17 <br />
