COMMENTS RE BOULEVARD LANDSCAPING <br />Commissioner Bird expressed his dissatisfaction with the <br />landscaping on the Boulevard median, and several Commissioners <br />concurred. <br />Director Davis explained that we are contracting with a <br />landscaping company to put it in, and we will maintain it. The <br />contractor is not finished, and we haven't paid a penny yet. He <br />believed part of the problem is in accepting low bid, but <br />emphasized R&B is keeping after them and will convey the message <br />that the Board is dissatisfied. <br />JAIL PHASE II - FINAL PAYMENT TO ARCHITECT <br />The Administrator reviewed the following: <br />TO: Bd. of County Comm. <br />Charles P. R. Frizzell Architects, Inc. of <br />Ft. .Myers, Florida in the amount of $1,562.97 representing final <br />payment to the Architect on Phase II of the Indian River County <br />Jail. <br />This matter has been reviewed by staff and is recommended for <br />payment. While this request for payment is being placed on the <br />agenda for your May 31st meeting, it has not been signed by an <br />authorized agent of the firm.
