BOX 1389 <br />VERO BEACH, FLORIDA - 32961-1389 <br />Telephone: 567-5151 <br />OFFICE OF THE <br />MAYOR <br />April 6, 1989 <br />Mr. Gary Wheeler <br />County Commissioner <br />1840 25th Street <br />Vero Beach, Florida 32960 <br />Dear Gary: <br />On the City Council meeting held Tuesday night April 4, 1989, the <br />Council formulated the principles outlined below and authorized me <br />to communicate to the County Commission the following. <br />We strongly endorse and support the Jungle Trail management plan. <br />This plan presents you with the opportunity to preserve a unique <br />part of our county's history, and the stabilization of natural <br />growth, flora and fauna. <br />With the intense <br />concomitant rise <br />county residents <br />natural habitat, <br />development of the barrier island and the <br />in residential land values a large portion of our <br />are denied access to and enjoyment of the unique <br />plant and animal life peculiar to this area. <br />Maintaining vehicular access to the entire historic portion of <br />Jungle Trail, both north and south as proposed by the Historical <br />Society in their Jungle Trail Conceptual Plan would greatly <br />benefit all county residents. <br />On behalf of all the City Council members, I trust that you will <br />give careful consideration to that plan. <br />Sincer <br />Y► <br />enneth R.
