They just wish to control the landscaping <br />at their entrance. <br />Commissioner Scurlock asked if the developer could submit a <br />plan of that for our later approval, and Mr. McQueen indicated <br />they would have no problem doing that. <br />COMMISSIONER SCURLOCK OFFERED A MOTION to approve staff <br />recommendation as set out in their memo; to clarify <br />Section 3 of that recommendation to have the developer <br />submit a plan of their landscaping and handling of the <br />200' at their entranceway for the Board's approval; <br />to have legal staff add whatever language is necessary <br />to indicate that the Town and/or developer will mutually <br />work with the County to adopt ordinances that are at <br />least as restrictive as our County ordinances, especially <br />those re tree protection and landscaping, etc. <br />Board members had various questions and suggestions about <br />conditions to be included in the Motion, and it was agreed: <br />To include that they are going to give us 25' from the center <br />line of the R/W in fee simple absolute. <br />To include recommendation by Public Works Director Davis to widen <br />the roadway to 20' minimum where minimum 120' radii and other <br />horizontal curves are proposed.. <br />To require that the buffer is going to be consistent with the <br />Jungle Trail Management Plan or what they have proposed today, <br />whichever is to the greater benefit of the County. <br />To stay with staff's recommendation #3 re the conservation tract <br />and buffer areas between the proposed new Trail and A -1-A except <br />for a 200' area around the entrance road and have a landscaping <br />plan submitted for that. <br />To stay with staff's recommendation #4 re the 30' "habitable <br />building setback" being granted to the County as a buffer area <br />to be used only as set out; and <br />To stay with the condition that we do not want the existing <br />alignment of Jungle Trail to be built upon. <br />94 <br />989 <br />BOOK <br />77 Fm,,E 232 <br />take anything <br />out of there, and if the Board wished <br />to put in a <br />condition that they do not remove protected trees in that area, <br />they will accept that.
