INSTALLATION OF 2 STREETLIGHTS - 632 SW DIXIE HIGHWAY <br />The Board reviewed memo from OMB Director Baird: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: August 25, 1989 <br />SUBJECT: INSTALLATION OF TWO STREETLIGHTS <br />AT 632 SW DIXIE HIGHWAY <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Mr. Dominic Pugliese at 632 SW Dixie Highway is requesting the <br />installation of two (2) streetlights. The City of Vero Beach <br />Engineering Department has determined that two (2) 9,500 lumen <br />H.P.S.V. light should be installed. A charge of $11.50 per light per <br />month is recommended or two lights at a cost of $23.00 per month. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Approve the request for a streetlight, contingent upon completion of <br />the following: <br />1. Staff will bill Mr. Dominic Pugliese $276.00 in <br />advance for the cost of two streetlights for a full <br />year. <br />2. Staff will draft a standard single streetlight <br />agreement between Dominic Pugliese and Indian River <br />County. <br />3. Authorize the County Administrator or Public Works <br />Director to sign the agreement between Mr. Dominic <br />Pugliese and Indian River County. <br />4. Staff will add two (2) 9,500 lumen H.P.S.V. lights <br />to the Master Streetlight Agreement between Indian <br />River County and the City of Vero Beach. <br />Commissioner Eggert inquired as to who pays for the Install- <br />ation, and OMB Director Baird explained that there isn't any <br />installation charge; it is a rental situation. <br />Commissioner Scurlock asked if this is consistent with the <br />policy we have been following, and this was confirmed. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Eggert, the Board unanimously approved the <br />request for streetlights as recommended by staff and <br />contingent upon the conditions listed above. <br />33 a00� F�i;r R10 <br />
