Davis, P.E. <br />Dated June 12, 1989 <br />DATE: August 28, 1989 <br />----------------------------------------------------------------- <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Mosby & Associates on behalf of the developers of Savannah Oaks <br />Subdivision is requesting a waiver of the cut and fill balance <br />requirement of Section 7B(1) of Stormwater and Flood Protection <br />Ordinance 87-12. Savannah Oaks Subdivision received Preliminary <br />Plat Approval on August 11, 1989. The 4.76 acre property is <br />located on a northerly extension of the existing Bucki ghammock <br />Trail adjacent to the northwest corner of the Vero Beach Country <br />Club Golf Course. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />The site is located in the Indian River Floodplain and drains <br />into Valkenberg Creek. The project engineer has stated the <br />proposed amount of fill required to develop the subdivision (421 <br />cubic yards) will not alter the 100 year floodplain. All other <br />requirements of the Stormwater Management and Flood Protection <br />Ordinance have been met. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Staff recommends that a waiver of the cut and fill balance be <br />granted to Savannah Oaks Subdivision. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Bowman, SECONDED by Commis- <br />sioner Eggert, the Board unanimously granted a waiver <br />of the cut and fill balance requirement to Savannah <br />Oaks Subdivision as recommended by staff. <br />34 <br />� � r <br />
