Change in Type of Vehicle - Sandridge Golf Club <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 10/23/89: <br />Member of the Board of <br />County Commissioners <br />T: Bob Komarinetz <br />Director of Go <br />FROM: <br />D= October 23, 1989 FILE: <br />SUBJECT: Change in type of vehicle <br />REFERENCES: <br />',EIESCR1PriCti OF CONIDITICVS <br />:;This budget year there is $9,000.00 approved to purchase a small <br />'pick up truck for use on the Sandridge Golf Club. There has also <br />'`been discussion on the possibli_lity to build the additional nine <br />-holes. With this in mind a two wheel drive vehicle would be <br />inappropriate to perform the neccessary work during the construction <br />"phase. A four wheel drive vehicle would be more suited for the purpose <br />as well as being useful in rough terrain areas of the existing <br />golf course. <br />An additional $3,000.00 is needed to purchase a four wheel drive truck. <br />Staff inturn recommends that we delete a greens mower reels which <br />::cost $3,460.00 to make up the difference in the additional purchase - <br />:'price of a four wheel drive truck. <br />AIBOOMMENDATMON <br />Staff recommends the purchase of the four wheel drive pick --up truck. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Scurlock, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Bowman, the Board unanimously (4-0), Commis- <br />sioner Eggert being absent, approved staff's recommen- <br />dation to purchase a 4 -wheel drive pickup truck and <br />delete a greens mower reels, as set out in above memo. <br />S.
