Chandler, <br />County Administrator <br />FROM: James W. Davis, P.E., <br />Public Works Director <br />SUBJECT: Request from "Teens Against Boredom" to use <br />Golden Sands Park for Beach Party. <br />REF. LETTER: Deborah Jenkins to Commissioner Dick Bird <br />dated 2/12/90. <br />DATE: February 20, 1990 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Deborah Jenkins, Chairman of the "Teens Against <br />Boredom" is requesting permission to have a beach party <br />from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on March 3; 1990 at Golden <br />Sands Park. The group would like permission to place an <br />electric generator on the beach and have music at the party. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />Since the same group has had two past similar events at <br />the beach which were well managed, staff has no objection <br />provided that the area is thoroughly cleaned of all trash, <br />etc. A lifeguard will be on duty. <br />Commissioner Scurlock asked if there is going to be any <br />provision for insurance or any requirement that an off-duty <br />officer can work with them. <br />69 BOOK. � � Nlku �� d <br />FEB 2 71990 <br />J <br />
