ALPHA HEALTH SERVICES - REQUEST TO FUND SUBSTANCE ABUSE PROGRAM <br />FOR PREGNANT WOMEN <br />OMB Director Baird reviewed the following, explaining that <br />this is a corrected memo from the one supplied in the agenda <br />backup: <br />TO: Members of the Board <br />of County Commissioners <br />DATE: March 7, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: ALPHA HEALTH SERVICES, INC. <br />REQUEST TO FUND SUBSTANCE <br />ABUSE PROGRAM FOR PREGNANT <br />WOMEN <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT 049 <br />FROM: Joseph A. Bair` • <br />OMB Director <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />On January 23, 1990 the Board of County Commissioners approved funding <br />Indian River Community Mental Health Inc. a matching portion of the <br />Grant/Substance Abuse for Pregnant Women in the amount of $13,323.00. <br />Indian River Community Mental Health, Inc. will be performing only the <br />inpatient treatment for substance abusing pregnant women. The <br />outpatient substance abuse for pregnant women will be performed by <br />Alpha Health Services, Inc. <br />Alpha Health Services, Inc. has requested matching funds in the amount <br />of $12,207.00 (see chart below) for the Grant/Substance Abuse for <br />Pregnant Women plus additional funds to lease the Sloan property in <br />Ft. Pierce.,for an outpatient facility. <br />CALCULATION OF GRANT/SUBSTANCE ABUSE FOR PREGNANT WOMEN OBLIGATION <br />Alpha Health Indian River Community <br />Services, Inc. When the Board of County of.
