J. Bond Reduction - Woodbridge Estates <br />The Board reviewed memo from Asst. County Attorney Collins: <br />TO: The Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: William G. Collins II - Assistant County Attorney <br />DATE: March 14, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: Bond Reduction for Woodbridge Estates Subdivision <br />The developers of Woodbridge Estates, Woodbridge Development <br />Company, are requesting a reduction in the bond posted to <br />warranty the required utility improvements for the recently <br />platted Woodbridge Estates Subdivision. <br />The posted bond warranties both internal subdivision <br />improvements and an off-site water line that was oversized <br />by the developer. <br />Our subdivision code requirements require bonding only of <br />the improvements required in the subdivision. Further, <br />Woodbridge Development Company has pointed out that <br />paragraph 3 of the agreement between Indian River County and <br />the developer dated June 6, 1989, provides for the County to <br />reimburse the developer for the construction of a water main <br />In the intersection of 8th Street and 43rd Avenue.
