Dudeck, Jr., P.E., County Traffic Engineer <br />SUBJECT: Special Assessment Paving of 134th Street <br />In Roseland <br />DATE: April 4, 1990 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />In response to the recent request by the Board of County <br />Commissioners that the Public Works Department conduct a <br />traffic study in the above referenced area to better define <br />the assessment proposed by staff for the paving of 134th <br />Street from the northerly property line of St. Sebastian <br />Church to Roseland Road, the Public Works Department has: <br />1) Prepared an overall aerial map of the area. <br />2) Conducted a Seven -Day -Hourly count of all ingress and <br />egress driveways to the Church as well as on 134th <br />Street just south of Roseland Road (in its current <br />barricaded condition). This is a peak season <br />condition. <br />3) Accomplished liaison activities with the Pastor of the <br />Church, Father Joseph V. LeSage to secure demographic <br />and operations activity information relative to the <br />Saint Sebastian Parish. (see attached letter of March <br />29, 1990). This data was refined through a follow-up <br />meeting with Father LaSage. <br />4) Radar spot speed checks were accomplished alongUS I in <br />the vicinity of the Church driveway by e <br />ty <br />Traffic Engineer. <br />r <br />19 <br />
