rAPR 11 " 1990 <br />BOOKB PAGE J <br />that came from the farm drainage districts, and he would hate for <br />us to get all the way through this and find there is a title <br />restriction on the property. <br />Chairman Eggert agreed that we should look at everything. <br />Administrator Chandler asked if the Commission concurred <br />with the May 22nd date, but Commissioner Scurlock preferred to <br />hold the meeting in the evening to get a better attendance. He <br />was sure the City Council is going to be interested along with <br />the Historical Society, the CRA, and the downtown merchants. <br />Administrative Assistant Liz Forlani advised that the <br />Chambers are scheduled to be painted and recarpeted during the <br />last week in May, and that work is scheduled to begin immediately <br />after the Board adjourns the May 22nd meeting. <br />Chairman Eggert preferred the evening of May 23rd and didn't <br />feel it would hurt anything if the work was delayed one more day. <br />OMB Director Joe Baird advised that costs for the painting <br />and carpet replacement will be $3200 and that those monies have <br />been budgeted out of Buildings & Grounds. <br />After a brief discussion on whether the remodeling was <br />necessary this year, the Board indicated their approval of <br />scheduling the meeting for Wednesday, May 23, 1990, at 7:00 <br />o'clock P.M. in these Chambers. <br />24 <br />
