He would be in favor of <br />assigning some benefit to the maintenance building, but having <br />the major portion of the City's $11,000 assessment picked up by <br />the County. <br />Commissioner Bird suggested $2500 for the maintenance <br />building with the County picking up the remainder, and that way <br />the assessment roll will stay the same as it is. <br />Mrs. Wyatt pointed out that there is an unpaved, one -block <br />section of 14th Street that connects 12th Avenue and 13th Avenue. <br />The County would still have to take the grader down there if that <br />wasn't paved too. <br />Director Davis advised that the Board has authorized Public <br />Works in the past to complete the network when there is a short <br />connection such as this. There is some contingency in this cost, <br />so he felt we can do that. <br />Attorney Vitunac asked if the City could state for the <br />record that they are willing to accept $2500 for their share of <br />the whole assessment, and Mr. Nason stated that the City would <br />accept the $2500 assignment. <br />Attorney Vitunac advised that staff._does not have to redo <br />the assessment as the $2500 would be inserted for the cemetery. <br />Mrs. Wyatt stated that she has no objection to the paving if <br />the assessment wasn't to be increased. <br />Commissioner Bird assumed that the property owner abutting <br />the City was notified of today's meeting and had the opportunity <br />to be here, and Chairman Eggert confirmed that notification had <br />been given. <br />There being no others who wished to be heard, the Chairman <br />closed the Public Hearing. <br />JU6� 5 1990 4, <br />BOC1K t� .4 'rL; � � <br />
