Finney, SRA o <br />Right -of -Way Acquisition Agent <br />SUBJECT: Indian River Boulevard, Phase III - Eminant Domain <br />Purchase of 54± Acres, Parcel #103..&- <br />2.066± Acres, Parcel #109 <br />:r=---------------------------------------------------------------- <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />Parcel #103 <br />The Board of County Commissioners, on March 20, 1990, approved <br />the purchase of the right-of-way and mitigation area from Indian <br />River West, Inc., Parcel #103 for $343,000. This figure was the <br />average valuation of the two June 1989 appraisals. The updated <br />appraisals of June 1990 are $365,248 and $366,000. <br />The court hearing #90 -277 -CA -05 of June 18, 1990 for the order of <br />,taking requests that the $366,000 be deposited with the court for <br />property and $3,665.00 for court costs. <br />'41 Parcel'' #109 <br />:,., <br />":e`_The Board of County Commissioners on March 20, 1990 also approved <br />`'ir= the purchase of the Vero Medical Center property, ' Parcel #109 for <br />.;..�The court hearing #90 -276 -CA -05 of June 18, 1990 for the order of <br />':'��"taking requests that $19,400 be deposited with the court for the <br />property and $199.00 for court costs. <br />'RECOMMENDATION & FUNDING <br />Since there is an additional $23,000 added to the $343,000 value <br />of a year ago, previously approved by the Board, staff requests <br />approval to purchase at $366,000 the 54± acre Parcel #103 and <br />purchase at $19,400 the 2.066± acre Parcel 109, plus total court <br />costs of $3,864.00 to be deposited with the court. <br />Funding to be from Fund 309, Indian River Boulevard North. <br />Revenue shall be from District 4 Traffic Impact Fees ($250,000) <br />and Secondary Road Trust Fund ($3.8 million). <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Wheeler, SECONDED by Com- <br />missioner Scurlock, the Board unanimously (4-0) approved <br />staff recommendation in regard to purchasing -Parcel <br />#103 and Parcel #109 as set out above. <br />U 1, r 4 S <br />z7 ®floy <br />
