COMMISSIONER SCURLOCK CONDENSED HIS MOTION, WHICH WAS <br />SECONDED BY COMMISSIONER BOWMAN, TO THE FOLLOWING: <br />Authorize him to work with the County Attorney's <br />Office on existing and future legislation to form a <br />dependent district with a millage cap decided by the <br />voters and putting it outside the County's 10 -mill cap, <br />with an automatic sunset provision that allows <br />voters to abolish or continue the district every four <br />years, and giving the Board of Commissioners final <br />budget approval and the freedom to pick its own <br />committee members. <br />THE MOTION WAS VOTED ON AND CARRIED UNANIMOUSLY. <br />BUDGET AMENDMENT 065 - SANDRIDGE GOLF CLUB, PHASE II <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 6/26/90: <br />TO: DATE: FILE: <br />Members of the Board of June 26, 1990 <br />County Commissioners <br />TM: Joe Baird UBJECT: Sandridge Golf Club Phase II <br />Director of Budget BUDGET AMENDMENT 065 <br />4 <br />FROM: Bob Kamarinet REFERENCES: <br />Director of Gol <br />r <br />Sandridge Golf Club completed the third year of operation on April 29th <br />of this year. The first three years have proven to be a very positive <br />addition to the community and is fully self supporting. The golf course <br />staff experienced, especially during the winter months, a lack of tee <br />times [because of its popularity and the additional golfing.population <br />coming into the area ] . <br />The staff requested from Links Design, Inc., Ron Garl, the designer <br />of the present course-, to prepare a cost breakdown for an additional <br />18 holes at Sandridge Golf Club. <br />JUL 31990 31 BOOK <br />
