AUG 0 9 <br />1990 <br />BOOK <br />0' 11,U. <br />7 (�' <br />- Discussion continued, <br />and Commissioner Bird asked <br />staff <br />how <br />the Commissioners can feel comfortable when we get all through <br />this process that they thoroughly upderstand what we are doing <br />now as opposed to what we did or didn't have before. <br />Director Keating advised that staff can go back through and <br />do all the underlining. We never had all this on the word <br />processor before, and from here on out, it will be easier. <br />Chairman Eggert commented that she would not anticipate <br />staff underlining policies that were just moved somewhere else, <br />but felt it is important to know if some major policy we had <br />before has been eliminated. It is very difficult to keep up with <br />this until someone who is affected by a change actually comes in <br />and complains. <br />At this point the Chairman determined that no one else <br />wished to speak regarding either Concurrency Management or <br />Traffic, and the Board recessed briefly. <br />Chairman Eggert reopened the workshop meeting at 10:15 A.M. <br />with only herself and Commissioner Bird present, Commissioner <br />Wheeler having had to go out of town, and asked that staff <br />continue their review. <br />Planner Rohan! came before the Board to review Chapter 918 - <br />Sanitary Sewer and Potable Water Regulations, the highlights of <br />which are as follows: <br />CHAPTER 918 — SANITARY SEWER AND POTABLE WATER REGULATIONS <br />* NEW ORDINANCE <br />* IMPLEMENTS POLICIES OF THE SANITARY SEWER AND POTABLE WATER <br />SUB—ELEMENTS FOR: <br />USE OF SEPTIC TANKS AND WELLS <br />EFFLUENT RE—USE <br />— PROVISION OF REGIONAL SEWER AND WATER SYSTEM IN THE URBAN <br />SERVICE AREA <br />CONNECTION REQUIREMENTS <br />12 <br />
