RESOLUTION N0.90-103 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO APPROVE A CHANGE IN THE INDIAN RIVER COUNTY - <br />FDOT JOINT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT. <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation and the <br />Indian River County Board of County Commissioners entered into a <br />Joint Participation Agreement on the 27th day of June, 1989; and <br />WHEREAS, the agreement, a grant award in the amount of <br />$25,000.00, issued to the Board, allowed the purchase of computer <br />hardware and a plotter, and telemetry site hardware equipment by <br />the planning division and public works department to improve <br />traffic circulation and transportation study activities; and <br />WHEREAS, the planning division purchased the computer and <br />plotter equipment; the public works department did not purchase <br />the telemetry equipment based upon its determination that purchase <br />of portable automatic vehicle classifiers and peripheral equipment <br />would be more efficient; and <br />WHEREAS, the public works department submitted a request to <br />the state to amend the joint participation agreement to reflect <br />this change; and <br />WHEREAS, FDOT in accordance with the request, incorporated <br />the requested revisions into an amended agreement, and submitted <br />the supplemental joint participation agreement for execution by the <br />Board. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS <br />OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: <br />1) The foregoing recitals are adopted and ratified in their <br />entirety. <br />2) The chairman is authorized to execute the Supplemental Joint <br />Participation Agreement. <br />THIS RESOLUTION was moved for adoption by Commissioner <br />Scurlock , seconded by Commissioner Wheeler , and <br />adopted on the 4 day of September , 1990 , by the <br />following vote: <br />Commissioner Richard Bird Aye <br />Commissioner Margaret Bowman AYe <br />Commissioner.Carolyn Eggert Aye <br />Commissioner Don C.
