OV 2 #d 1990 BOOK 82 F,� 4" <br />Chandler stressed that the week's extension will be needed <br />because staff will have to work closely with Mr. Lundy regarding <br />the inspections required, etc. <br />THE CHAIRMAN CALLED FOR THE QUESTION. <br />It was voted on and carried unanimously. <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING COUNTY PEACETIME EMERGENCY PLAN <br />The Board reviewed memo from Deputy Director John King: <br />TO: James Chandler <br />County Adminis rator <br />THROUGH: Doug Wright, Director <br />Department of Emergency Services <br />FROM: John King, Deputy Director <br />Department of Emergency Services <br />DATE: November 14,E 1990 <br />SUBJECT: APPROVAL OF RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE COUNTY PEACETIME <br />EMERGENCY PLAN <br />It is respectfully requested that the information contained herein <br />be given formal consideration by the Board of County Commissioners <br />at the next scheduled meeting. <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS: <br />On October 25, 1990, the Indian River County Department of <br />Emergency Services received state approval of the County Peacetime <br />Emergency Plan that was earlier submitted to the Florida Division <br />of Emergency Management for review. <br />The review of the Peacetime Emergency Plan is measured against <br />compliance requirements outlined in Rule 9G-7, Florida <br />Administrative Code. However, the Plan must be adopted by <br />resolution of the governing body of the County before it meets <br />compliance requirements of Rule 9G-6, FAC. <br />28 <br />
