McCoy 4 "'K <br />Staff Planner, Current Development <br />DATE: November 20, 1990 <br />SUBJECT: St. Augustine Episcopal Church's Request for Conceptual <br />Special Exception Approval for a Place of Worship <br />It is requested that the data herein presented be given formal <br />consideration by the Board of County Commissioners at its regular <br />meeting of December 4, 1990. <br />PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT AND LOCATION: <br />Carter and Associates,. Inc. has submitted an application for <br />conceptual special exception approval and a conceptual site plan on <br />behalf of St. Augustine Episcopal Church for a place of worship. <br />The subject property is located at 475 43rd Avenue, and is zoned <br />RS -3 which requires special exception approval for a place of <br />worship. This request was submitted and reviewed under the old <br />LDRs. <br />The Board of County Commissioners is to approve, approve with <br />conditions, or deny the (place of worship) special exception use <br />request. Pursuant to Section 25.3 of the Zoning Code, Regulation <br />of Special Exception Uses, the Board of County Commissioners is to <br />consider the appropriateness of the requested use based on the <br />submitted conceptual site plan and the suitability of the site for <br />that use.
