Chairman Bird asked Administrator Chandler if he felt we had <br />a need for this study at this time, and Administrator Chandler <br />stated that there was no question in his mind that we have a need <br />for this study. He expected it would be our road map for the <br />future for both our short and long-term needs. In addition, he <br />believed that this is a fair price for the magnitude of what we <br />are looking at. <br />Commissioner Scurlock reported on the point system used in <br />the ranking of the 3 firms. The only scope of service that <br />wasn't included in depth was the administrative aspect of EMS and <br />fire rescue, as that already was done. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Wheeler, the Board unanimously <br />approved the contract with Vickrey, Ovresat, and <br />Awsumb for an amount not to exceed $85,000 with <br />reimbursables not to exceed $745; price to include <br />the entire scope of work that was outlined in the <br />County's Request for Qualifications, as set out in <br />the above staff recommendation. <br />CONTRACT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />CLOSING OF 37TH AVENUE BETWEEN 10TH AND 11TH STREETS FOR BLOCK <br />PARTY <br />The Board reviewed the following memo dated 2/7/91: <br />TO: James E.
