3. Operation of Radar <br />FHP shall operate such radar in a lawful manner to <br />detect the speed of motorists, to reduce the incidents of <br />excessive speed, and to promote the health, safety, and welfare <br />of persons who travel the highways and roadways of In <br />River County. If FHP officers operating such radar are <br />reassigned to any other County, the radar equipment shall remain <br />in Indian River County.
