<br />Table 1-8 shows the distribution of vehicle availability among households in Indian River
<br />County compared to the State of Florida and other counties in the region. Lack of vehicle
<br />availability is a key indicator of the propensity to use transit. As of 2011, Indian River
<br />County's household vehicle availability was comparable to the State of Florida and
<br />surrounding counties.
