Source: National Transit Database 2006-2010 <br />Figure 3-31 Vehicles Available and <br />Operated in Maximum Service (VOMS) <br />Spare ratio measures the difference between the number of vehicles available and the <br />number of vehicles operated in maximum service, divided by the number of vehicles <br />operated in maximum sei vice.
